While we ask tenants to sign an occupancy agreement, we offer month-to-month rentals with no long-term commitment required.
Security is critical to us, so we ask new tenants to present six points of identification before renting a storage unit. Typically, that means a government-issued photo ID and two additional forms of matching identification. Please try to have this ready when you rent your unit.
In the United States, there's an understanding in the self-storage industry that your goods are not insured. However, Delta Storage has partnered with Storsmart, which provides a low-cost, self-storage-specific insurance policy. Consult your insurance agent to see if off-site storage is covered if you have your own insurance coverage.
We have both indoor and outdoor vehicle storage at some of our locations. Again, your storage advisor can point you to the right place.
Again, some of our storage facilities can accommodate these vehicles. Again, your Delta Storage advisor can tell you which options are available at your location.
Some of our facilities allow 24/7 access. However, some additional charges and documents may be required. Consult with your storage advisor for more information.
We recognize that not everything can be stored. If you have something you need to dispose of, please let your Delta Storage advisor know. We do charge for the use of one of our dumpsters.
We hate to see you go but understand that not all arrangements are permanent. We'd be happy to let you rent our truck, but we have to charge a fee. Free rentals are for move-ins only. Note: This service is only available at our Bayonne and Jersey City locations.

However, some locations are open on a limited schedule on some holidays. Please call to learn more. We also close early on Christmas Eve and New Year's eve. We appreciate your understanding. Aside from these exceptions, we are open seven days a week.

You do. We take security very seriously, which is why our doors are alarmed. Please make sure you key in your code before opening your storage unit. No one wants the police to show up for a false alarm, so we ask that you please comply with this rule.
Yes! We offer heavy-duty carts – at no cost to you – to make your move easier. However, these carts are for on-site use only and cannot be removed from the property.
We allow customers to use temporary electricity inside their storage units. However, keeping something plugged in permanently is not something we allow.
If you've forgotten your access code, visit the front office for assistance. We ask that you never drive through an open date, as this can trigger false alarms.
Delta Storage asks that you please go to the Front Office so that we can assist you. Only the account owner can receive the access code from the front office for the safety and security of all our customers. Your Government Issued Photo ID will be required.
